fall fun

I love October. It's apple cider, cinnamon, crunchy leaves, beautiful foliage (or FOIL-ee-age, if you want), just about everybody's anniversary, and the time for little boys to discover great things like jack-o-lanterns and trick-or-treating.

It's been a fun fall. We've done the traditional Virginia autumn things and loved every minute of them. Graham has had a blast. He's been to the farm and has the livestock slobber to show for it. He has no fear of goats, sheep, llamas, or vicious bunnies. It was quite a thing to see him jam a giant wad of hay into a very appreciative llama's mouth. Poor thing nearly gagged.

Today, we carved our first pumpkin. Graham was in heaven-- "Happy face! Happy face!"

I have a feeling this little boy loves October, too!
